Hobby Gardening LLC provides seasonal gardening, property cleanups, and light landscaping for residential clients in Ypsilanti and nearby areas. We focus on reliable service, healthy gardens, and improving outdoor spaces, with an emphasis on respect, professionalism, and enjoying outdoor work.

Position Summary

We are hiring a part-time on-call gardener/helper for the 2026 season.

What We’re Looking For

A reliable, punctual person, willing to learn, and genuinely interested in plants, aesthetics, and outdoor work.
No experience required; training is provided
Comfortable working outdoors in different weather conditions
Able to handle sharp tools and light to medium-weight equipment safely
Respectful and professional around clients and their property
Someone who values good communication and takes pride in quality work

What We Offer

Part-time schedule depending on demand. Ideally one to three workdays per week
Flexible hours and days based on mutual availability
Hourly base pay + performance-based commission per project
All tools, transportation to client properties, and work clothing provided
Supportive, friendly work environment with learning opportunities
